Lucy Daurio

Vocal & Performing Arts Faculty

Lucy Daurio brings a rich background in vocal excellence, performance history, and creative leadership to our faculty. Originally from Thousand Oaks, California, Lucy is graduating with a BFA in Musical Theatre (MDT) from Brigham Young University. A standout performer and student leader, she served as Music Captain for the renowned BYU Young Ambassadors, touring extensively across the United States as well as internationally to Brazil, China, and the United Kingdom.

In addition to her performance career, Lucy is a skilled music director and vocal coach. She spent two years as Music Director for the BYU MDT Broadway Revue and served as a Nauvoo Performing Missionary in 2024. Having taken the stage in musical theatre productions since the age of nine—with a special affinity for jazz and tap—Lucy combines deep performance experience with a passion for guiding young artists. Her instructional style focuses on strong technical foundations, artistic confidence, and helping students cultivate their unique theatrical voice.

Global Stage

She has shared her talent across the United States, Brazil, China, and the United Kingdom as a performer and Music Captain with the BYU Young Ambassadors.

Favorite & Dream Roles

Her favorite roles include Cathy in The Last 5 Years and Princess Anna in Frozen. A fan of Wicked since age five, her ultimate dream role is Glinda.

Unforgettable Credits

Her most unique theatrical role to date was playing the iconic rolling boulder from Indiana Jones!

Pop Culture & Passions

Offstage, she loves kittens, listening to The Beatles and One Direction, and serving as a Nauvoo Performing Missionary in the summer of 2024.
