At Compass Performing Arts in Highland, Utah, we believe families deserve complete financial transparency. You should always know what you’re paying for, why it matters, and what to expect throughout the year. We don’t hide fees or surprise you with unexpected bills.
Administrative Note
To keep our administrative costs low and focus 100% of our energy on teaching your children, Compass operates on a paperless, automated billing system.
Monthly Tuition
Sibling & Multi-Class Discount
- To support families with multiple children or dancers who love to train more, we offer a generous discount:
- Enjoy 20% off the lower-priced tuition for:

Our tuition is designed to be simple, consistent, and easy to understand.
1-Hour Classes – $55/month
- Includes 1-hour skills classes
- Includes ages 6–8Â
- 1-hour combo blocks
2-Hour Classes – $99/month
- Includes ages 9–18Â
- 2-hour combo blocks
Annual & Operations Fees
Transparent annual costs supporting your child's journey throughout the season.
Annual Registration Fee: $35 per student ($60 per family)
Covers insurance liability, onboarding, portal access, and a Compass company t-shirt for each registered student.
We will always communicate clearly and give you time to fix any billing issues. A $15 late payment fee is applied only if a monthly auto-draft declines and is not resolved within our 5-day grace period.
Performance & Showcase Fees
Performances are a core part of the Compass experience. They build confidence, teamwork, and joy on stage.
Most importantly: we do not charge for entry to our shows. Your loved ones should never have to buy a ticket to watch your child shine.
Performance Tickets: Always Free!
We believe your child’s support system—parents, siblings, grandparents, and friends—should be able to cheer them on without worrying about ticket prices.
Performance & Showcase Costs
- Winter Costume Accessory: $20
- Spring Showcase Costume: $75

Performance Base Attire:
To keep things inclusive and comfortable for all body types, our performance base is simply solid black. Parents are responsible for providing this base layer, and the studio will provide additional costume accents later.
Tops: Plain black shirt or leotard.
Bottoms: Plain black slacks, golf pants, shorts, leggings, or tights.
A Note on Movement & Fit: Because our choreography involves high-energy movement, please ensure that tops are long enough to keep undergarments and midriffs fully covered when arms are raised. All items should be solid black, completely opaque (not sheer), and free of visible logos or patterns.
